Linked by a car blog!

A very nice gentleman named John from My First Car e-mailed me and asked if he could use my story about Mr. Valiant.

Linked by a car blog. What I know about cars can be writen on the inside of a matchbook with a grease pencil. The next thing you know, JayG will be asking me about Harleys, Tam will ask my opinion about pistols, Brigid will want pointers on poetry, and Alan Gura will be asking me for legal advice.

Anyhow, go check him out, and if you like, offer to share your first car story with him.

  2. Nancy,

    Congratulations on the recognition!

I have a cold this morning, my balance seems off, and my sinuses are tender, with thick discharge. I don't seem to have a fever, not too achy, though I do feel tired this morning.

    What should I do?

Oh, and where can I find an easy (as in 'beginner') sewing pattern for men's gym shorts?

    Blessed be!

  3. Brad K. Uh, maybe should see a doctor? I'm no expert on sinus discharge, sorry.

As far as the sewing patterns go, I haven't made gym shorts since 1980, and I can't remember the last time I made 21st century clothing. I'd ask The Great Wizard Google, or try out the Great Patter Review here: http://www.gbacg.org/great-pattern-review/index.html for reviews.

  4. I'm still hoping to get linked on a tractor blog, but probably not going to happen.

    Congratulations!

  5. With all the comments regarding your success with verticality (It may not be a word, but my daughter suggested it)... why no links yet from basketball blogs?

  6. G4: Maybe it's because I loathe basketball? I was told my whole life I was a klutz, and I believed it, so when the high school basketball coach pulled me out of Speech class and demanded to know why I wasn't playing it didn't end well for either of us. Especially when he told me I didn't have to know anything about the game, I just had to stand around and wave my arms. Yeah. Way to boost my already non-existant self confidence.
